This is a regular apartment on the 17th floor of a building on a main drag that cuts Huai Hai Lu, one of the main local hot spots near the French Quarter. It's about 15 minutes walk from the Shanghai Metro, which is great. The prettiest room I had in China. You can get around by bus or taxi also. The owner Xiao speaks excellent English.

Best Hostel ever! Clean, in a nice area of Shanghai. But what really makes this place unique is the owner, Xiao. She is the nicest person you can meet in whole China. She helps you with tickets, orders food if you are not sure what to eat, teaches you Chinese card games and you can have some of the best discussion ever, if you take the time to get to know her better. So, thanks Xiao, for everything. I'll come back!

The hostel is more like an apartment than a hostel and is a really nice place to stay. Its not too far from the main shopping part of Shanghai, would recommend to anyone.

BPHS was in fact much more a HOME than a hostel. It`s so cozy there. You get helped with any problem. Any place in Shanghai can be reached by bus or metro easily. I strongly reccommend that hostel!!!

Clean and secure place to stay in shanghai. Bit far from the next subway station but you can take a cheap taxi to there. I can definitely recommend this hostel!
